Good tips for beginners on FB and a refresher for those who have been around awhile. It took some time to create a strategy & vary my types of posts.

Good point about Facebook groups. As long as you don’t hijack the group, it’s a great way to demonstrate your expertise as well as be helpful to others.
sweetteasocialmarketing says
Oh absolutely Jackie! I never advocate hijacking a group at all. Not a good strategy. Though sadly, you and I both have seen some people do it.
Wil Cross says
I need to work more on Interacting in Facebook Groups.

Getting busy optimizing my facebook page now 🙂
Brenda Niemeyer says
Love the tip on engaging with Facebook groups. I need to do more of that and begin to follow other groups and businesses through my business page.

Thanks Brenda. I have several clients that ultimately approached me because they liked the information I shared in a Facebook group. A great way to make and build connections…

Great tips! Love seeing your comments and getting to know you in the Kim Garst group. One question….you say “Optimize your personal Facebook page to get business leads.” I’ve used my personal Facebook primarily to interact with family and friends…..I think if I did a lot of business stuff on this page it would turn them off……and really not reach my business contacts anyway???…. your thoughts.
