What You Need for Your Social Media Strategy (Part 2)
We're following up last week's episode with an additional 9 steps (because we accidentally skipped one on this episode!) that you can take to create a social media strategy for your business.
I'm a firm believer that if you consistently show up doing this things that you will remain top-of-mind to your audience and clients.
Here are the final 9 steps you need to build out a social media strategy plan :
11. Engage and respond on social media : Interact with your audience and have your corner of the internet be a place where conversation is fostered and encouraged.
12. Put your offers out there : I believe that social media should first be a place for building and cultivating relationship. However, you must still be responsible as a business owner to encourage people to engage with your offers and to ask for a sale.
13. Follow up with excellence : Don't leave money on the table. Be sure to follow up with people who show interest with the same excellence as you would if you had already made the sale.
14. Spotlight happy customers and make them the hero : This is an idea from Donald Miller that I absolutely love. Create content that spotlights your customers and clients in a way that makes THEM look good.
15. Be visible : Use social media to get in front of the right people to show them what you're about and to communicate that you are relatable.
16. Take offline events and convos onto social media : If you find yourself at an event, show that! I am a big advocate for showing what you do offline and continuing the conversation online.

18. Serve your customers like crazy : ultimately your business is about other people and showing up with value. Communicate that in how you show up each and every day.
19. Be generous : This can simply look like kindness and respect to your clients. But ask yourself, how I can be overly generous in every area of my business and life?
20. Spotlight other businesses : I love the saying, ‘Rising tides raise all ships.' and in the Kingdom of God there is never time for competition. If you love someone or what they're doing, tell them that. Highlight what they're doing on social media.
