In today's episode I'm sharing with you simple hacks to creating and posting videos for social media – no matter the platform.

I know many people who are simply overwhelmed by the idea of creating videos. Some are terrified of being on camera, some don't know what to talk about, whatever the reason is, it holds them back from taking advantage of the power that lies with using video on social media for your business.

In this episode I share 3 simple methods that will get the attention of your audience and quickly tell them what your video is about. I'm not ever going to tell you what you need to say or give you a verbatim script, that's up for you to decide based on your audience. But I'm hopeful that these methods will serve as a guide and to help get your wheels turning, so to speak.

The three methods for recording videos are:

1. Complete Sentence Method : The very first thing you're going to say when you hit the record button is a full sentence. Go ahead and tell your audience what you're going to be talking about in the video. This allows them to make a decision quickly on whether or not this is a video they want to watch.
2. Ask a Question Method : Open your video up with a question and then spend the rest of the video answering that question
3. ‘Have You Ever' Method : Begin your video with “Have you ever…?” and then fill in the rest of the sentence. Chances are, if you know your audience, they have been in that place for before and you're providing valuable information that they can use.
