This episode from realtor, John Schuchman, was super encouraging. John shares his personal story of how he went broke, used social media marketing to get him out of the 9-5 job cycle, pay off debt and grow his real estate business.
Meet John
John Schuchman is a Realtor in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Along with his work as a Realtor, John is also the host of the Real Estate Survival Guide podcast, which helps realtors Survive in the real estate business. John also leads the Real Estate Survival Guide membership community. In 2019, John lost his full-time W2 job and struggled mentally and emotionally for months before he found his niche in real estate.
John went from broke in 2020 to creating a six figure real estate income, less than two years later. From 2020 to 2021, John tripled his income and in 2022, John had equaled his 2021 income by the end of June. John’s family has been blest incredibly by God and is so thankful that through real estate, John’s wife was able to become a stay-at-home mom, and their family paid off all of their debt and even completely paid of their house in June of 2022.
John has a gift for organic social media growth and coaches others in using it social media well. John does not believe in cold calling or pitches, and he instead builds business through being a storyteller. John enjoys coaching others that success is possible without the pitch and without traditional advertising.
