   • We need to forget about follower counts and focus on genuine and authentic connections.
   • This event inspired me to embrace AI and to not let the constant evolution of AI tools and daily technology changes overwhelm me to the point I’m frozen. Pick a couple of the tools and focus on those and incorporate them into our processes.
   • There are so many people in this world that want to teach and help you grow! Embrace not being an expert and constantly be open to learning and soaking in the expertise of others.

   • At first I was overwhelmed. I definitely felt like a small fish in a huge pond when I got there. Yay for imposter syndrome! The conference boosted my confidence both personally and professionally.

   • Even in a crowded online world, there are people who are YOUR PEOPLE who understand and get you, find those people. You are also never alone.

   • AI, when partnered with, exponentially amplifies our creative abilities.

5. Amanda Wilbur
   • In December, 2023 I quit my comfy government job and hung my digital shingle up to begin my entrepreneurial journey as a psychotherapist in private practice. Only I wasn’t getting any clients adding my name to therapy directories. I knew I needed something more. In comes #SMMW24. I learned more about social media marketing but even more I met like-minded people. I connected with someone who gets my brand and will help with a marketing strategy. I met people that are already successful in this genre and I have hope for the future, and lastly, I made friends with people that understand this entrepreneurial path and encourage me to keep on keeping on

   • The connections are invaluable, I’m so grateful. It was a huge relief knowing I am not the only one dealing with “imposter syndrome”.

   • The people, I made 1 friend at the pre conference meet up and I walked out with so many more.
